Semi-truck drivers kept thinking they had the wrong address, then she landed larger commercial projects

The problem

A PO box rejected by suppliers and registrations; a home address causing delivery chaos with semi-trucks; equipment stored in a residential garage; no professional meeting space.

The solution

A commercial address with dock doors for equipment delivery, conference rooms for client meetings, and centralized team workspace.

The results

Taking on larger commercial projects; improved team cohesiveness with centralized equipment access; professional legitimacy; cost at half of standalone commercial spaces.

Kelly Miller's HVAC company operated from a PO box and home address, until suppliers wouldn't ship large equipment to a PO box and semi-truck drivers kept arriving convinced they had the wrong location. Three months into WareSpace, Integrity HVAC operates from professional headquarters with dock doors, conference rooms, and centralized space for her four-person team.

Before WareSpace: delivery chaos and a home address

Suppliers wouldn't ship large equipment to PO boxes and business registrations rejected them, while semi-truck drivers arrived in Kelly's suburb convinced they had the wrong location. When deliveries happened, condensers ended up in her garage.

Her dog barked during business calls, kids interrupted meetings, and household tasks distracted from essential work.

A lot of the large manufacturers could not deliver to a home address and so we needed an address like this that had drive-up dock doors and a place to store large equipment for a few days until we could install it in the buildings.

Making the switch: commercial legitimacy without the cost

Standalone commercial spaces in St. Paul ran roughly double what WareSpace offered and lacked the amenities she needed. WareSpace provided exactly what Integrity HVAC required without excess square footage, with non-negotiable dock doors for semi-truck deliveries.

Conference rooms host client groups of up to 10 with screens for presentations, and a location in St. Paul's manufacturing district placed them near parts suppliers.

Where they are now: commercial HQ secured

Three months in, Kelly can accept larger projects requiring substantial equipment deliveries, knowing manufacturers will ship to the address and semi-trucks can access the dock doors. Tools centralize in one location where all four techs can grab what they need.

Client presentations now happen in conference rooms without home distractions, and a legitimate commercial address solved registration and supplier-account problems.

Now that we're at WareSpace, our potential is greater. I think that we can get bigger both in terms of projects that we can take on and also I think that it's a place where we can grow employees as well.
